Local and licensed. Richland pest control for everything from the Hanford-era homes in north Richland to Badger Mountain and South Richland — a seasonal plan with free re-service between visits.
Black Widows
Concentrated in warm, dry eastern Washington. We treat foundations, window wells, garages and clutter zones where they hide.
Mice, Rats & Voles
Move indoors as it cools. Exclusion and monitoring, plus vole control for lawns and landscaping.
Wolf Spiders
Big, fast ground hunters — harmless but alarming. Perimeter treatment keeps them out of living spaces.
Yellowjackets & Wasps
Peak in late summer. Nest removal plus eave and soffit treatment so they don't rebuild.
Richland is bounded by two rivers — the Columbia and the Yakima — and its houses span eighty years. North Richland still has the 1940s Hanford-era homes, often called the alphabet houses, while Badger Mountain, South Richland and Horn Rapids are mostly newer construction pushing out into the sagebrush.
Older homes and newer ones get pests in different ways. The older ones have more gaps and crawl-space access; the newer ones sit right against open hillside. A good plan for Richland treats for the house you actually have.
The alphabet houses and other older homes often have crawl spaces, older vents and settled foundations. That's where black widows and mice set up, so we treat crawl-space openings, garages and the foundation line, and flag the gaps worth closing.
Homes that back onto Badger Mountain or open sagebrush get a steady supply of wolf spiders, mice and black widows coming off the slope. A perimeter barrier on the uphill side does most of the work.
Neighborhoods close to the Columbia and the Yakima River delta deal with more moisture-loving insects in summer — earwigs, silverfish and mosquitoes. Mosquito treatment is an add-on to the plan if you spend your evenings outside.
