Who this covers

This policy covers The Pest Crew — our website at thepestcrew.com, the forms on it, the lead forms we run on Facebook and Instagram, and the service we provide at your property.

What we collect

Only what we need to quote the work, do it, and get back to you:

• Your name, phone number, email address and service address.
• What you told us is going on — the pest, where you're seeing it, and anything you add about the property.
• Details about the property needed to price and perform the work, such as its size, and notes our technician records during a visit, including photos of the areas treated and the products applied.
• Payment information, if you pay us by card. Card numbers go directly to our payment processor and are never stored on our systems.
• Basic technical information when you use the site — pages viewed, and the ad or link that brought you here.

If you reach us through a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes us the contact details you confirmed on that form.

What we use it for

To call or text you back about your request, quote the work, schedule and perform service, send appointment confirmations and a summary after each visit, take payment, keep the service records the State of Washington requires pesticide applicators to keep, and answer you if you get in touch.

We also use it to understand which of our ads bring in real customers, so we stop paying for the ones that don't.

Calls and text messages

When you give us your phone number you are asking us to contact you about your request, and we may call or text you at that number — including with an automated system — about scheduling, arrival times, service summaries and billing.

Reply STOP to any text to stop them. Message and data rates may apply, and standard rates for your carrier apply to any texts we send.

We will not sell your number or pass it to anyone else to market to you.

Cookies and advertising

Our site uses cookies and similar technology to keep it working and to measure our advertising.

We run the Meta pixel, which tells Facebook and Instagram when someone who saw one of our ads later filled in a form on our site. It reports events like a page view or a form submission; it does not read anything else on your device, and we do not use it to build profiles about you.

You can turn off ad personalisation in your Facebook and Instagram settings, and you can block cookies in your browser. The site still works if you do.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone who wants to market to you.

We share it only with the companies that run parts of our business for us, and only with the part they need:

• Our payment processor, to take card payments and issue refunds.
• The hosting and database providers that run our website and our customer records.
• The email and text messaging services that send your confirmations and receipts.
• Facebook and Instagram, where you submitted one of their lead forms to reach us.

We will also hand over information where the law requires it, or where it is needed to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

If you asked for a quote and never became a customer, we keep your request while we follow up and then delete it.

If you become a customer, we keep your service records for as long as you are with us and afterwards for as long as Washington pesticide application recordkeeping rules and our tax obligations require. Ask us to delete what is not legally required and we will.

Your choices

Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@thepestcrew.com or call (509) 222-9828 and we will handle it — there is no form and no fee.

Reply STOP to stop texts. Use the unsubscribe link on any marketing email to stop those; you will still get the confirmations and receipts tied to work we are doing for you.

Security

We keep your information on access-controlled systems and limit who on the crew can see it to the people who need it to do the job. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we do not keep card numbers, which removes the thing most worth stealing.

Children

Our service is sold to adults and our site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell affected customers directly rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
